From The Cape Cod Crossover Staff:
Dear Prospective Player and Parent(s):
As we begin planning for a successful year, we are delighted that you and your family are interested in being a part of the Cape Cod Crossover family.
Our mission is to build the individual character of each member, to blend team members into a harmonious and successful unit, and to optimize both personal and team potential. A particularly important part of our mission is to prepare each team member academically to use their talents to achieve college scholarships so that they may attain a higher education.
Until recently, there were few opportunities in Southern New England for young men and women to participate in basketball programs sanctioned by national basketball associations, such as the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). However, the number of teams and tournaments available in the state has increased dramatically over the last ten years. We are finding that AAU is highly respected by High Schools, Colleges, Junior Colleges and Universities across the nation.
The Cape Cod Crossover was established to help bring much needed national recognition to young men and women in New England .
Competition at this level demands skill, dedication, and commitment, from both the players and the parents. While this is difficult to say , "only the qualified need apply and playing time is not guaranteed." If you would like to be a part of the Cape Cod Crossover program, please feel free to contact us at aau@beyondbasketball.com.
Respectfully yours,
The Cape Cod Crossover Staff
